Statement on Covid-19

Monday 30th March, 2020

We hope, first and foremost, that you are keeping safe and well during this period of uncertainty?

During the current Covid-19 pandemic, The Latitude Hotels Group has been taking measures and actions prescribed by the Malawian authorities to ensure the ongoing safety of our guests and team members.

In order to continue the vital process of safeguarding our team and our guests, The Latitude Hotels Group has therefore taken the decision to temporarily close Latitude 13o until further notice. This closure not only affects the hotel, but also our gyms, spas, bars, restaurants and workspaces, and is with effect Sunday 30th March, 2020.

It pains us to have to take this decision, and we deeply regret the inconvenience that this will cause. We do hope that you understand however, that as a business that values its place within this community, we have to protect the ongoing sustainability of the company and our wonderful Malawian Team who are dependent on it for their livelihoods. We are certain that the actions we are taking now will contribute positively to the speed at which we are all able to recover from this crisis.

If you have a current booking during this period of closure or wish to discuss your future travel plans and hotel conference bookings, please be assured of our assistance, and get in touch with us via the e-mail address or telephone number below:

We have always taken pride in offering bespoke and personalised attention to our guests and visitors, hence this is not a decision that we have taken lightly – and sustaining us is our anticipation of being able to welcome you back to our hotel, when the time is right.
